The mod works automatically once installed—you'll see tactical gear items in the creative menu and combat effects trigger during firefights. Start by crafting or finding ballistic armor plates and equipping them, then engage enemies to see door breaching, shell casings, and blood effects in action.

The mod includes soft, ceramic, heavy, and military-grade ballistic armor plates, each offering different levels of protection. Military-grade provides the best defense but is likely heavier or harder to craft, while soft plates offer basic protection with fewer drawbacks.

Frag grenades deal damage and scatter shrapnel across an area, while flashbangs blind targets and cause temporary ear ringing without direct damage. Both are thrown weapons useful for clearing rooms or disabling groups of enemies.

Weapon jamming is a built-in mechanic that triggers randomly during firefights to add unpredictability to combat. You can disable this in the mod's configuration settings if you prefer uninterrupted shooting.
