How to Breach a Door and Clear a Room

Preparing for Entry

Before breaching, equip a firearm and ensure you have ammunition loaded. Position yourself at an angle to the door rather than directly in front of it—this reduces exposure to return fire from inside. If you have tactical gear available, consider wearing it for protection.

Executing the Breach

Fire directly at the wooden door or trapdoor. The mod allows bullets to penetrate wooden doors, creating an opening and potentially damaging or eliminating threats on the other side. The door will break apart realistically rather than simply opening.

After firing through, be ready for immediate threats. Listen for movement and watch for mobs or players returning fire. The breach creates noise and may alert nearby enemies, so have your weapon ready to engage.

After Entry

Once inside, use cover to your advantage. Watch for shell casings on the ground—they're realistic but won't affect gameplay. If you need to retreat, remember that enemies can also shoot through doors, so don't linger in doorways. Multiple shots may be needed to fully clear the opening depending on door thickness.
