How do you get Arcane Crystal in Forbidden and Arcanus?
Smelt or blast Arcane Crystal Ore into an Arcane Crystal, then smelt a crystal again into Arcane Crystal Dust. The crystal and dust are the mod's core magical materials, used throughout its recipes.
What is the Clibano?
The Clibano is an upgraded combustion furnace that smelts faster than vanilla and unlocks recipes an ordinary furnace cannot — producing Arcane Crystal, ingots, Obsidiansteel Ingot, Netherite Scrap and Runes. It becomes your main smelting block.
How do you make Runes?
Runes are made by smelting or blasting Runic Stone. They are the components behind the mod's magical devices and rituals, so keep a stock on hand.
How do you enhance gear in Forbidden and Arcanus?
Use the apply-modifier recipes: a smithing template plus a special component — such as the Sea Prism, Terrastomp Prism, Smelter Prism, Eternal Stella or Soul Binding Crystal — grants an item a magical effect.
What is Edelwood used for?
Edelwood is the mod's dark tree. Smelting an Edelwood Log yields Dark Matter, and Edelwood planks build a themed block set, including Arcane Edelwood Planks when combined with a Deorum Ingot.
What is the Blacksmith Gavel?
The Blacksmith Gavel is a signature tool; a Diamond Blacksmith Gavel upgrades with a Netherite Ingot through smithing into the Netherite Blacksmith Gavel.
