Understanding Armor Types

The mod offers four ballistic armor plate grades: soft, ceramic, heavy, and military-grade. Each provides increasing protection but may affect mobility differently. Equip armor appropriate to your threat level—lighter armor for scouting, heavier plates for direct combat.

Gas Masks and Filters

When operating in dangerous environments or areas with heavy smoke from gunfire, equip a gas mask and ensure you have filters available. Filters deplete with use, so carry spares during extended operations. This gear protects you from environmental hazards and allows you to push through smoke-filled rooms where enemies may be disoriented.

Loadout Considerations

Balance protection with mobility. Heavy armor reduces damage but may slow you down in tactical situations. Combine armor plates with a gas mask for maximum survivability in intense firefights. Check your filter supply before entering smoke-heavy areas. Remember that armor degrades with damage, so inspect your gear between engagements and repair or replace damaged plates before the next fight.
