Using Grenades Effectively in Combat

Frag Grenades vs Flashbangs

The mod provides two grenade types. Frag grenades deal damage through shrapnel and are effective against grouped enemies. Flashbangs disorient targets by blinding them and causing ear ringing, making them vulnerable to follow-up attacks without dealing direct damage.

Deployment Strategy

Equip your grenade and throw it toward enemy positions. Frag grenades work best when enemies are clustered together or in enclosed spaces where shrapnel bounces around.

Timing and Safety

Throw grenades before entering tight spaces rather than during active firefights where you're exposed. Account for the grenade's travel time and detonation delay. If you're indoors, grenades create smoke that can obscure your vision too, so position yourself where you can still see targets after detonation. Use grenades to control enemy movement and create opportunities for safe advancement.
