About this mod

!Refined Storage logo

Refined Storage is a mass storage mod for Minecraft that offers the player a network-based storage system, allowing them to store items and fluids on a massively expandable device network.

Items and fluids can be stored in one of the many storage capabilities that the mod offers. Any storage devices connected to the same network are accessible to the player through one simple Grid interface, allowing the player to access the inventories of many devices through a single unified GUI.

This mod not only adds storage solutions, but also devices that can be used to manipulate items and blocks in the world and from within the system, such as importers, exporters, constructors, destructors, and more! There are also devices in this mod that allow the player to setup auto-crafting, allowing the crafting of complex recipes in a few simple clicks.

How do you start a Refined Storage network?

Build a Controller for power and a Grid to access items, then craft a 1k Storage Part (from Silicon, Quartz Enriched Iron, glass and redstone), combine it with a Storage Housing into a 1k Storage Disk, and place it in a Disk Drive on the network.

How do you make processors in Refined Storage?

Smelt quartz into Silicon, then smelt the raw processor forms into Basic, Improved and Advanced Processors. Higher-tier processors are needed for larger storage parts and more advanced devices.

What are the storage tiers in Refined Storage?

Item storage climbs 1k, 4k, 16k and larger, as disks (in a Disk Drive) or standalone blocks. Fluids use a parallel line measured in buckets — 64B, 256B, 1024B, 4096B and up.

How do you set up autocrafting in Refined Storage?

Store recipes in a Pattern Grid, add an Autocrafter to the network, then request an item through the Grid and the network gathers ingredients and builds it. The Autocrafting Monitor and Autocrafter Manager track the jobs.

How do you add a chest to a Refined Storage network?

Use the External Storage device on the chest or tank to expose its contents to the network, so it appears in your Grid without converting the items to disks.

How do you get Silk Touch or Fortune on Refined Storage devices?

Apply an enchanted book to the matching upgrade — the mod has Silk Touch and Fortune upgrades — then install the upgrade in a device like an Importer or Destructor so it respects that enchantment.
