Accelerated Rendering Mod boosts FPS by offloading entity vertex transformations from the CPU to the GPU using compute shaders, making crowded areas and complex models render much faster. Features: Entity rendering optimization with GPU compute shaders.

Guides

Step-by-step, in-game.

Configuration

Every setting in the mod config file, with what it changes.

OptionWhat it does
accelerated_entity_renderingAccelerated Entity Rendering SettingsAccelerated Entity Rendering uses GPU to cache and transform vertices whiling rendering entities, instead of generating and transforming vertices every time the entities are rendered in CPU.
accelerated_item_renderingAccelerated Item Rendering SettingsAccelerated Item Rendering uses GPU to cache and transform vertices while rendering item models, instead of generating and transforming vertices every time the item models are rendered in CPU.
accelerated_text_renderingAccelerated Text Rendering SettingsAccelerated Text Rendering uses GPU to cache and transform vertices whiling rendering text through BakedGlyph, instead of generating and transforming vertices every time the text are rendered in CPU.
bake_mesh_for_quadsBake Mesh For Quads- DISABLED: Accelerated Rendering will not bake mesh for quads provided by dynamic item models (something that is not SimpleBakedModel) unless mods explicitly enable it temporarily when rendering their own item models. - ENABLED: Accelerated Rendering will bak

Block Buffer Restoring can record the binding of block buffers before the accelerati

block_entity_filter_valuesBlock Entity Filter ValuesYou can configure the block entity filter by this list. Block entity filter will use this list and the filter type to determine if a block entity can pass the filter.
mesh_typeCached Mesh Type- CLIENT: Cached mesh will be stored on the client side (CPU), which will use less VRAM but take more time to upload to the server side (GPU) during rendering. - SERVER: Cached mesh will be stored on the server side (GPU), which may speed up rendering but will

Frequently asked questions

How do I know if Accelerated Rendering is actually working?
Open the in-game editor from the mod list or config screen and check that acceleration is enabled, then compare FPS in a crowded area with it toggled on and off. If your framerate doesn't change at all, the feature may be disabled or your GPU may not support the compute shaders it relies on.
Why did my FPS drop after installing Accelerated Rendering?
On some GPUs the compute shader overhead outweighs the CPU savings, especially in scenes with few entities. Try disabling acceleration for specific entity types or turning off the feature entirely to see if performance recovers.
Do I need to install anything on the server for this mod to work?
No, Accelerated Rendering is client-side only, so it works on any server you join without server-side installation. Other players won't see any difference and you won't be kicked for using it.
How do I open the in-game config editor?
Use the Mods list on the title screen or pause menu and click the config button next to Accelerated Rendering. Alternatively, edit the acceleratedrendering client toml file directly if you prefer manual changes.
