Frequently asked questions

How do I get started with Amendments?

Amendments doesn't add a progression system, so you can start right away by crafting any of its decorative blocks. Try a

carpet slab or

wall lantern first, since those are the most immediately useful for builds.

How do I make a

carpet slab?

Carpet slabs are made by combining carpet with a slab in a crafting grid. Place them like normal slabs to get thin carpet-topped surfaces that work on stairs and edges.

How do I make

carpet stairs?

Carpet stairs are crafted similarly to carpet slabs, using carpet plus stairs. They let you carpet a staircase without the carpet floating awkwardly over the steps.

How does the

dye cauldron work?

Fill a cauldron with water, then add dye to tint it. You can then dip dye bottles or items into the cauldron to color them, and the cauldron holds its color until you change or empty it.
