How to Enable or Disable Accelerated Rendering for Specific Entities

If a particular mob or model looks broken, flickers, or renders with missing parts after installing the mod, the acceleration is likely mishandling that entity type. You can exclude it without turning off the whole mod.

Using the In-Game Editor

Open the mod's config screen from the Mod Menu (or your mod list's config button). Look for the entity acceleration section, which lists categories of entities the mod can offload to the GPU. Toggle off the category that matches the problem model — for example, block entities, armor stands, or specific mob groups. Save and return to the world; changes usually apply on the next frame, but reloading the world guarantees a clean state.

Editing the Config File Directly

If the in-game editor does not expose the option you need, close Minecraft and open the acceleratedrendering client config file in your config folder. Find the entity acceleration entries and set the relevant one to false. Keep a backup before editing so you can restore defaults if something breaks.

Verifying the Fix

Re-enter a crowded area and watch the affected entity. If it renders correctly, leave the exclusion in place. If other entities now stutter, re-enable the category and instead try the translucent acceleration option, since some models rely on transparency and behave differently under acceleration.
