Frequently asked questions

How do I know the mod is actually working?
Check your client log after launching a world or joining a server; the mod stops the telemetry event from being sent, so you should see no telemetry transmission entries. If you previously saw telemetry-related log lines, they should no longer appear.
Does this mod work on servers or only singleplayer?
It works on both. The mod disables the client-side telemetry that fires when you load a singleplayer world or connect to a multiplayer server, so your XUID is not sent in either case.
Will this break multiplayer or get me banned?
No. The mod only stops telemetry data from being sent; it does not alter gameplay, movement, or server communication, so servers cannot detect or punish you for using it.
Does it stop all data collection or just telemetry?
It only disables the telemetry introduced in 1.18. It does not block other network traffic such as authentication, server list pings, or crash reports, so those still function normally.
