Frequently asked questions

How do I turn off nametags?
Press F6 (or your custom keybind) to toggle nametag visibility on and off. You'll see the nametag bubbles disappear immediately when disabled.
Can I change what key hides nametags?
Yes, open your keybind settings in the main menu, search for "No Render Name Tags" or "Toggle Nametags", and bind it to any key you prefer.
Do nametags still work when I hide them?
The nametags themselves are not removed—only the visual bubbles are hidden. The mobs still have their names and will keep them when you toggle visibility back on.
Will this affect my performance?
This mod has minimal performance impact since it only controls rendering. It may actually improve performance slightly in areas with many named mobs.
