How to Confirm Telemetry Is Actually Disabled After Installing No Telemetry Mod

You installed the mod, but you want proof it is doing something. Since the mod works by suppressing the telemetry event rather than showing a menu, verification happens through logs and network behavior.

Check the Logs

Launch the game and load a singleplayer world or join a server. Open your launcher's log output or the logs/latest.log file in your instance folder. Look for the absence of telemetry-related entries that vanilla would normally print when a world loads or a server connection is established. If the mod is active, those send attempts should not appear.

Watch Outbound Traffic

If you want stronger confirmation, run the game with a network monitor on your machine. Connect to a multiplayer server and observe outbound connections. With the mod working, you should not see the telemetry payload leaving your client at world load or server join. Compare against a profile without the mod if you want a baseline.

Common False Alarms

Other mods, the launcher, and Mojang's authentication services still make their own connections. Do not confuse those with telemetry. Focus specifically on the moment a world loads or a server connection completes, since that is when the telemetry event fires in vanilla.
