Frequently asked questions

Do I still need netherite upgrade templates with this mod?
No, this mod removes the requirement for Netherite Upgrade templates entirely. You can now upgrade diamond armor directly to netherite using only a diamond armor piece and a netherite ingot in a smithing table.
How do I upgrade my diamond armor to netherite now?
Place your diamond armor piece and a netherite ingot in a smithing table, just as you would in vanilla Minecraft, but without needing a Netherite Upgrade template. The smithing table will combine them into netherite armor.
Can I upgrade enchanted diamond armor to netherite with this mod?
Yes, enchantments on your diamond armor are preserved when you upgrade to netherite, just like in vanilla Minecraft. The smithing table will transfer all enchantments to the new netherite piece.
Does this mod work with other armor mods?
This mod only affects the vanilla diamond-to-netherite upgrade path and does not modify other mods' armor systems. Compatibility depends on whether other mods override smithing table recipes.
