How do I get cooked meat from villagers?

Kill a villager and it drops

Cooked Villager meat directly, no furnace needed. You can also cook Raw drops from other mobs in a furnace, smoker, or campfire if you prefer.

Do iron golems drop food?

Yes, iron golems drop

Cooked Iron Golem meat, and they also drop

Frozen Golem Nugget and

Cooked Golem Nugget items. Farming them is one of the most reliable meat sources since they respawn in villages.

Why isn't my mob dropping meat?

The mod's config controls which mobs drop meat, so check that the mob is enabled there. Also make sure you're killing the mob yourself rather than letting it die to fire, fall damage, or another mob, since some drops only trigger on player kills.

Is cooked meat from this mod safe to eat?

Yes, cooked drops like

Cooked Villager,

Cooked Wolf, and

Cooked Axolotl are edible food items. Raw drops such as Raw Cat or

Raw Bat should be cooked first before eating.
