How to Get Piglin Porkchop and Monster Meat

Nether and hostile drops

Drop The Meat adds Piglin Porkchop and Cooked Piglin Porkchop, plus Cooked Monster Meat. These come from Nether and hostile mobs, so you need to be geared up before farming them.

Steps

1. Prepare Nether gear: armor, a good weapon, and blocks to bridge and shelter with.

2. Find a bastion or piglin area. Kill piglins to get Piglin Porkchop. Note that attacking piglins angers nearby piglins, so be ready for a fight or pick them off one at a time.

3. Cook the Piglin Porkchop in a furnace, smoker, or on a campfire to turn it into Cooked Piglin Porkchop.

4. For Cooked Monster Meat, kill hostile mobs that count as monsters. This drop is already cooked, so it is edible on the spot.

5. Store both types separately so you know which still needs cooking.

Practical tips

Piglins are dangerous in groups, so lure them into a chokepoint or fight from range. Monster Meat is a good emergency food while exploring caves or the Nether, since it drops ready to eat. Do not carry raw porkchop into a fight you might lose.
