Frequently asked questions

How do I stop a baby mob from growing up?
Use a nametag on any baby mob to give it a custom name. Once nametagged, that baby mob will never grow into an adult and will keep its baby appearance and size forever.
Can I make a baby mob grow up after I've named it?
Yes. Use another nametag to rename the mob to either "grow up" or "GROW_UP" (case doesn't matter). The mob will then resume its natural growth cycle and become an adult.
Do I need to do anything special to install this mod?
Install the mod into your mods folder like any other mod for your Minecraft version. No special setup or configuration is needed—it works automatically once loaded.
Will nametagged baby mobs despawn?
No. Nametagged mobs in Minecraft never despawn, so your baby mobs will stay permanently where you leave them.
