Nametagging Your Baby Mob

To prevent a baby mob from ever growing into an adult, you need to apply a nametag to it while it's still in its baby state.

1. Breed two adult mobs of the same type to produce a baby

3. Obtain a nametag (found in loot chests, fishing, or crafted)

4. Use the nametag on the baby mob by right-clicking it

5. Give the baby any name you want using the nametag interface

Once named, the baby will retain its small size and baby characteristics permanently. It will never age into an adult, no matter how much time passes. This works with any breedable mob—animals, hostile mobs, or any creature that has a baby variant.

Important Notes

The mod only prevents growth if the mob is named with a nametag. Unnamed babies will still grow normally. The baby's behavior and abilities remain the same as an unnamed baby; naming it only locks its age.
