Frequently asked questions

Do bookshelves have to be in air to work with enchanting tables?
No—this mod lets enchanting tables detect bookshelves even when fully submerged in water. Bookshelves follow the same placement rules as on land; they just work underwater now.
How far away can bookshelves be from an underwater enchanting table?
Bookshelves use the same detection range as normal enchanting setups. Check your enchanting table's level indicator to confirm nearby bookshelves are being recognized.
Can I mix air and water bookshelves in the same enchanting setup?
Yes—the mod doesn't change how bookshelves work, only that they function underwater too. You can combine submerged and air-exposed bookshelves in a single setup.
Why isn't my underwater enchanting table detecting bookshelves?
Check that bookshelves are within detection range and not blocked by solid blocks between them and the table. Make sure the bookshelves are actually placed as blocks, not floating items in water.
