Set Up Your First Underwater Enchanting Station

Finding the Right Location

Choose a spot in your ocean base, underwater cave, or submerged structure where you have room to work. The area needs to be fully submerged—the mod detects bookshelves even when both the table and shelves are underwater.

Building Your Enchanting Setup

1. Place your enchanting table on the seafloor or a platform you've built

2. Arrange bookshelves around it following standard enchanting room rules—they work the same way underwater as on land

3. Leave appropriate spacing between the table and bookshelves (the mod uses vanilla detection, so standard bookshelf placement applies)

4. Make sure water flows around your setup; the mod doesn't require you to drain the area

Testing Your Setup

Approach the enchanting table and open it. Check the enchantment level available—if you've placed bookshelves correctly, you should see higher-level enchantments than without them. The interface works identically to surface enchanting tables, so you'll recognize the layout immediately.

You can now enchant tools, weapons, and armor with maximum-level enchantments without ever leaving your underwater base.
