Frequently asked questions

How do I open the Exordium config screen?
Exordium is configured through Mod Menu if you have it installed, or through the config file in your Minecraft config folder. Open Mod Menu, find Exordium in the list, and click the settings button to reach its options.
What does Exordium actually do to my FPS?
It limits how often the GUI (inventory, HUD, menus) is redrawn, freeing up CPU and GPU time for world rendering. You'll typically see the biggest gains in situations where the GUI was previously redrawing every frame.
Why does my inventory feel laggy or sluggish after installing Exordium?
Because the GUI is being rendered at a lower framerate than the world, animations and cursor movement inside menus can feel less smooth. Raise the GUI framerate setting in the config, or enable the fade animation acceleration option to smooth out transitions.
What is the GUI framerate setting and what should I set it to?
It controls how many times per second the GUI is redrawn, separate from your world framerate. Lower values save more resources; higher values make menus feel smoother. Start low and raise it only if menus feel too choppy.
