Overview

Everlasting Abilities (EA) is a progression-based mod that allows players to discover and equip permanent potion-like effects and unique powers. Unlike standard potion effects, these abilities are persistent and remain active after a player dies. The mod revolves around finding Ability Totems in the world, which can be stored in an Ability Bottle and activated using Experience (XP).

As of version 26.1.2 for Minecraft, the mod features over 40 unique abilities, ranging from simple speed boosts to creative-style flight and area-of-effect debuffs for enemies. All abilities are fully customizable via datapacks and configuration files.

How to use Everlasting Abilities Mod?
When you first spawn in a world you receive an Ability Bottle with a random ability. Right-click the bottle to open a window where you can move the ability onto your player, which costs experience; moving it back to the bottle refunds that experience.
Everlasting Abilities Mod how to remove
Open the Ability Bottle window by right-clicking and move the ability back from your player into the bottle, which refunds the experience you spent. Note that if you die at the hand of a player you lose one random ability, which drops in an Ability Totem.

Abilities are stored in Ability Bottles and Ability Totems and, once moved to your player, stay with you permanently. Moving an ability to your player costs experience and moving it back refunds it, and every ability has a maximum level.
