How do I know if a mineshaft I found is from this mod?
Better Mineshafts structures are much larger and more open than vanilla ones, with biome-specific wood types, decorated workstations, and loot chests placed throughout. If you see abandoned miner outposts, mineral deposits at tunnel dead-ends, or a surface opening leading down, it's a Better Mineshaft.
Why can't I find any Better Mineshafts in my world?
Mineshafts only generate in newly loaded chunks, so worlds created before installing the mod won't have them in already-explored areas. Travel to unexplored terrain or generate new chunks, and remember that mineshafts are still underground structures that require some digging or cave exploration to reach.
How many biome variants are there and which one is rarest?
There are nine biome variants in total, each with its own wood type and design theme. The mushroom mineshaft is the rarest variant, so it's worth marking if you stumble across one.
Do I need Yung's Better Caves installed for this mod to work?
