Frequently asked questions

How do I know if I'm currently vanished?
Run the vanish command again or check your own player state; most setups show a status message or action bar indicator when you toggle vanish. If you can't see other players in tab and mobs ignore you, you're likely still vanished.
Why can other staff still see me when I'm vanished?
Players with the sv.see permission always see vanished staff, and this is intentional so your team can still coordinate. If you want to be hidden from them too, that's not what sv.see is for — it's a staff-visibility permission, not a true invisibility toggle.
Can vanished players still pick up items or take damage?
Both behaviors are configurable. By default vanished players often can't pick up items and take no damage, but you can change these in the config if you want a different behavior.
Do I stay vanished after the server restarts or reloads?
Yes, SuperVanish persists vanish state across reloads and restarts, so you don't have to re-vanish every time. If you want to reappear on restart, you'd need to change that behavior in the config.
