Toggle Nametag Visibility On and Off

Basic Toggle

The No Render Name Tags Mod lets you quickly hide and show all nametag bubbles above mobs without removing the nametags themselves. This is useful for taking clean screenshots or reducing visual clutter during gameplay.

To toggle nametags:

1. Press the F6 key while in-game (default keybind)

2. All nametag bubbles will instantly disappear or reappear

3. The nametags remain applied to mobs—only their rendering is affected

Checking Toggle Status

There is no on-screen indicator showing whether nametags are currently hidden or visible. Pay attention to whether you see the bubbled text above named mobs to confirm the current state. If you're unsure, press F6 again and observe the change.

You can toggle as many times as you need during a session. The setting does not persist between game restarts unless you configure it otherwise in your mod settings.
