Hide Nametags for Screenshots

Preparing for Clean Screenshots

Nametag bubbles can clutter screenshots, especially in builds with many named mobs or decorative animals. Use this mod to remove them from view before capturing.

To take a screenshot without nametags:

1. Position your camera and compose your shot

2. Press F6 to hide all nametag bubbles

3. Verify that the bubbles are gone by looking at any named mobs in frame

4. Take your screenshot using F2 (default) or your preferred screenshot tool

5. Press F6 again to restore nametag visibility for normal gameplay

Tips for Best Results

Toggle nametags off just before taking the screenshot to ensure no bubbles appear in the final image. If you're taking multiple shots of the same scene, keep nametags hidden between captures. Remember that this only hides the visual bubbles—the nametags themselves remain on the mobs, so they will reappear the moment you toggle the mod back on.
