Frequently asked questions

Does the hoe work on cactus right after I install this?
Yes, the data pack takes effect immediately once loaded into your world. You can start breaking cacti with a hoe right away without any setup or configuration needed.
Can I use any hoe or does it have to be a specific type?
Any hoe works on cacti with this data pack—wooden, stone, iron, diamond, golden, or netherite. The hoe's material tier doesn't affect cactus breaking speed; only the hoe tag matters.
Why is my hoe not breaking cactus faster than my pickaxe?
Make sure the data pack is actually loaded in your world by checking the data pack list in world settings. If it's loaded and still slow, verify you're using an actual hoe tool and not a sword or other item.
Does this work in multiplayer or only single player?
This data pack works in both single player and multiplayer servers, as long as the data pack is installed on the server or world file.
