Frequently asked questions

How do I turn on toggle sneak mode?
Open your Controls settings, find the Toggle Sneak keybind (unbound by default), and assign a key. Once set, press that key once to start crouching hands-free, and press it again to stop.
Will I stay crouched if I open a chest while sneaking?
Yes, that's the core feature—opening any inventory (chests, crafting tables, furnaces) keeps you crouched so your nametag stays hidden from other players.
Does this work with hold-to-sneak controls?
Yes, the mod fully supports hold-to-sneak; you'll stay crouched while your inventory is open as long as you're holding your sneak key.
What happens when I press my normal sneak key while toggle sneak is active?
Pressing your standard sneak key instantly cancels toggle sneak and returns you to normal standing mode.
