What Toggle Sneak Does

Toggle sneak lets you crouch without holding a key, freeing up your hands for mouse and keyboard actions. This is especially useful when you're crafting, sorting multiple chests, or managing complex recipes.

How to Activate

1. Press your configured toggle-sneak keybind (check your controls menu if unsure)

2. Look for the status text indicator above your hotbar—it confirms toggle sneak is active

3. Open any crafting table, furnace, or inventory screen

4. You'll remain crouched while the menu is open

5. Press toggle-sneak again to turn it off, or press your standard sneak key to cancel immediately

When to Use This

• During long crafting sessions where holding sneak would be tiring
• While typing in chat—your hands stay free for typing
• When managing multiple containers in succession
• In PvP scenarios where you need to stay hidden for extended periods

The status text disappears when toggle sneak is off, so you always know your current state.
