Switch Between Hold-to-Sneak and Toggle-Sneak Modes

Understanding the Two Modes

This mod supports both control styles: hold-to-sneak (press and hold to crouch) and toggle-sneak (press once to toggle crouch on/off). You can use both simultaneously.

Using Hold-to-Sneak

1. Press and hold your standard sneak key

2. Open any menu—you stay crouched

3. Release the key to stand up

4. This works with crafting tables, chests, and chat

Using Toggle-Sneak

1. Press your toggle-sneak keybind once to activate

2. Check the status text above your hotbar—it shows toggle sneak is active

3. You'll remain crouched until you press toggle-sneak again

4. Pressing your standard sneak key will cancel toggle-sneak instantly

Switching Between Them

• Both modes work independently
• You can use hold-to-sneak for quick actions and toggle-sneak for extended periods
• If toggle-sneak is active and you press hold-to-sneak, releasing hold-to-sneak won't cancel toggle-sneak
• Check your controls menu to customize which keys trigger each mode
