Use an Eye of Ender like in vanilla — it still flies toward the nearest Stronghold. Because Better Strongholds makes them larger, dig down once the eye dips underground and start exploring from the outer corridors inward.

That's the whole point of the mod — it replaces the vanilla layout with a much larger, multi-level structure full of tunnels, hallways, staircases, traps, and hidden areas. Expect to spend far more time mapping it out than a vanilla Stronghold.
How many room types are there?
The mod adds over 15 different room types, ranging from libraries and prisons to puzzle and trap rooms. You won't see every type in a single Stronghold, so explore multiple Strongholds if you want to find them all.
How do I avoid the traps in the stronghold?
Watch the floor and walls for suspicious blocks before stepping forward, and move slowly through narrow corridors. Traps are placed in hallways and rooms, so lighting up an area and looking before you walk is the safest approach.
