Frequently asked questions

How do I get started with Applied Flux?
Craft a 1k ME Energy Storage Component and combine it with an ME FE Storage Cell to make your first 1k ME FE Storage Cell, then place it in an ME Drive or ME Chest so your AE2 network can store FE. You'll need Charged Redstone Crystals and an Energy Processor first, so set up an Inscriber Energy Press before anything else.
What's the difference between an ME Energy Storage Component and an ME FE Storage Cell?
The component is the intermediate crafting item that determines capacity, while the FE Storage Cell is the finished item you actually put into an ME Drive or ME Chest. You always craft the component first, then combine it with the appropriate housing to get the usable cell.
How do I charge items with the Induction Card?
Put an Induction Card into a wireless terminal or compatible AE2 device and it will wirelessly charge FE-powered items in your inventory from your ME network's stored energy. Make sure your network actually has FE stored in Applied Flux cells, otherwise there's nothing to draw from.
Why isn't my Induction Card charging anything?
The most common causes are an empty ME network (no FE stored), the card not being installed in a wireless terminal, or being out of range of the network's wireless access point. Check that your ME FE Storage Cells actually hold charge and that you're within wireless range.
