How to Automate Energy Processor and Dust Production

Why Automate

Every Applied Flux recipe — storage components, cells, Induction Cards, Flux Accessors — depends on Energy Processors and dusts. Hand-crafting these becomes the bottleneck once you start building large cells. Automating them keeps your progression smooth.

Setting Up Dust Production

Diamond Dust and Emerald Dust are produced by grinding diamonds and emeralds. Feed diamonds and emeralds into a grinder or equivalent processing machine and route the dust output into a chest or ME storage. Keep a buffer of each dust type; higher-tier cells consume them in bulk.

Setting Up Energy Processors

Energy Processors are made with the Inscriber Energy Press. Place the press, supply it with the required inputs (including Charged Redstone Crystals, which you make from redstone and other materials), and pipe the finished processors into storage. Charged Redstone Crystals can also be compressed into Charged Redstone Crystal Blocks for compact storage.

Tying It Together

Use ME export buses or item pipes to feed raw materials into the grinder and press, and import buses to pull finished dusts and processors back into your ME system. With this loop running, you can craft any tier of storage cell on demand without manually gathering ingredients each time.
