Revelationary Mod makes it so that certain aspects of the game will be unlocked or revealed only if you meet a certain criteria or reach a certain point of game progression. The mod by itself does not make any changes to the vanilla game.

Frequently asked questions

How do I get started with Revelationary if I just installed it?
The mod does nothing on its own, so you need to either install a modpack that uses it or write your own revelation datapack. Start by creating a datapack with a revelations folder under your namespace, then link each revelation to an advancement that controls when it becomes visible.
Why isn't anything happening after I installed the mod?
Revelationary is a library-style mod and intentionally makes zero changes to vanilla by itself. You need a datapack or another mod that declares revelations, otherwise there is nothing for it to reveal.
Where do revelation files go in my datapack?
They go in resources/data/ /revelations inside your datapack. Each file declares the disguised block states or items and points to the advancement that gates their visibility.
How does Revelationary decide when to reveal something?
Every revelation is tied to an advancement, and the mod watches each player's advancement progress. Once a player earns that advancement, the disguised blocks or items become their real counterparts for that player.
