Pillager Caravans Mod Wiki & Guide

Caravans spawn as moving groups that walk across the landscape—you'll see pillagers, vindicators, and pack animals traveling together. Listen for mob sounds and watch the horizon during exploration, or use the `/caravan` commands to check spawn status in your world.

Caravans can spawn in any biome, but the loot they carry and the pack animals they bring are tailored to match their environment—jungle caravans carry different goods than desert or snowy ones.

Larger caravans include ravagers and heavy guards, so scout first to gauge group size. Attack from range or high ground, focus on guards before targeting the cargo animals, and retreat if the group is too large for your gear.

Pack animals despawn automatically when their main guard is defeated, and they also teleport back to their owners if their leash stretches too far—this prevents them from wandering off permanently.
