Minecraft’s world generation contains a lot of rivers and canyons. A layer travelling by land will have to put in some effort to cross these world generation features. Abridged Mod brings an aesthetic solution to this problem by adding beautiful, well detailed bridges across rivers and canyons.

Frequently asked questions

How do I find bridges in Abridged Mod?
Just explore your world normally — bridges generate automatically over rivers and canyons during world generation. They appear in both new and unexplored chunks, so you won't find them in areas you've already loaded before installing the mod.
Do bridges spawn in already-generated chunks?
No. Bridges are placed during world generation, so only chunks generated after the mod is installed will contain them. You'll need to explore new territory to find them.
What's the difference between creek bridges and canyon bridges?
Creek bridges span rivers and tend to be shorter with flatter approaches, while canyon bridges are longer and built to cross deep ravines or gorges. The canyon variants often have taller support structures to reach across the gap.
Are the bridges safe to walk across?
Most bridges are fully walkable, but some canyon bridges have gaps, broken sections, or missing rails you'll need to jump or bridge over. Check your footing before sprinting across, especially on pillager variants.
