Frequently asked questions

How do I use the spyglass if I'm not holding it?
Press Z (or your configured hotkey) while you have a spyglass anywhere in your inventory, and you'll zoom in without needing to hold it in your hand. This frees up a hotbar slot for other items.
What if I don't have a spyglass in my inventory?
If you're in Creative or Spectator mode, you can still use the zoom hotkey to access a fake spyglass. In Survival mode, you must have an actual spyglass in your inventory to use the feature.
How do I change the zoom hotkey from Z?
Open your Keyboard Shortcuts settings, navigate to the "Inventory" section, and rebind the Zoomglass key to whatever you prefer.
Can I use Zoomglass while holding other items?
Yes—that's the whole point of the mod. You can use the zoom hotkey regardless of what's currently in your hand or hotbar.
