Village names are generated automatically when a village is created or loaded, so you don't need to enable anything. Just walk into a village and look for the sign in its center, which displays the randomly chosen name.

Where exactly is the village name sign placed?

The sign is placed in the center of the village, near the village's meeting point. If you can't find it, use the /areas command to highlight nearby area signs.

Can I change the name a village was given?

Yes. Break or edit the existing sign and write your own text on it, and the village will use that name instead. The mod reads whatever is on the sign, so any text you put there becomes the village's name.

How do I remove a village name entirely?

Place an empty sign in the same position as the name sign, or clear the text from the existing sign. With no text on the sign, the village effectively has no displayed name.
