How do I start a practice session?
Spawn into the training area and collect the starter tools from the designated supply zone. You'll have everything you need to attempt your first portal build—just grab your bucket and building blocks, then head to an empty practice station.
What's the fastest way to cast a portal frame?
Pre-plan your lava placement before you start pouring—know exactly where your obsidian blocks will land. Practice the water-lava interaction timing so the lava sets into obsidian immediately, and avoid wasting bucket swaps by casting in one smooth sequence.
Why isn't my portal lighting up?
Make sure your obsidian frame is complete with no gaps and oriented correctly (the frame must be at least 4 blocks tall and 5 blocks wide). If the frame is solid, check that you're using flint and steel on the inside of the frame, not the outside.
How do I reset the arena quickly?
Hit the reset button located near your practice station—it will instantly clear your attempt and respawn the arena with fresh tools and blocks so you can go again without manual cleanup.
