Frequently asked questions
How do I rename an item?
Hold the item in your main hand and execute `/rename ` where ` ` is what you want to call it. The item's display name will update immediately.
What's the difference between the item name and lore?
The item name is the single line displayed in bold at the top of the tooltip (changed with `/rename`), while lore is the descriptive text below it (managed with `/addloreline`, `/setloreline`, etc.).
How do I add multiple lines of lore to an item?
Use `/addloreline ` for each line you want to add—each command appends a new line to the bottom of the existing lore.
Can I edit a lore line that's already on the item?
Yes, use `/setloreline ` where line numbers start at 1 for the first lore line. This replaces that specific line without affecting others.
