Frequently asked questions

How do I get started with All The Ores?
Craft a basic pickaxe and start mining underground for copper, aluminum, and cinnabar ores, which spawn in most overworld biomes. Smelt the raw ore in a furnace to get your first ingots, then use those to craft an ore hammer for better yields.
What is the difference between an ore and a deepslate ore?
Deepslate variants generate below the stone-to-deepslate transition layer and drop the same raw materials as their stone counterparts. They exist so ore generation stays consistent at deeper Y levels.
How do I make bronze?
Combine copper and tin in a crafting grid or alloy smelter to produce bronze ingots. The exact ratio depends on your alloying method, so check the recipe in JEI or your mod's recipe viewer.
How do I make brass?
Brass is an alloy of copper and zinc. Mix the two metals using your modpack's alloying method, such as a crafting grid, mixer, or alloy smelter.
