Frequently asked questions
What does the Infinity Range Booster actually do?
It removes the distance limit on your wireless AE network so your terminal keeps working no matter how far you travel. Place it in your network and your wireless range effectively becomes unlimited within that dimension.
How do I use the Dimension Card to get wireless access in the Nether or End?
Put the Dimension Card into your wireless terminal so it can connect to your AE network from another dimension. Once installed, your terminal links back to the network even when you're in a different dimension than your controllers and drives.

They solve different problems: the Booster handles distance within a dimension, while the Dimension Card handles cross-dimension access. If you want unlimited range everywhere, you generally want both.

It goes into your ME network like other AE infrastructure, connected to the same network as your controller and wireless access point. Once it's part of the network, the range boost applies to terminals linked to that network.
