How do I actually use this mod to set my default options?

Where do I put my custom options files so the mod picks them up?

Does it overwrite my options every time I launch the game?
No. It only copies a default in when the target file is missing, so your in-game changes are kept as long as the file exists. If you want to force a reset, delete the live file and relaunch.
Why didn't my defaults apply after I changed them?
The most common cause is that the live options file still exists, so the mod has nothing to restore. Delete or rename the live file, then relaunch. Also make sure you edited the copy in the mod's config folder, not the live one.
