Frequently asked questions
How do I use the WITS mod to find out what structure I'm standing in?
Stand inside the structure and type /wits in chat. The command prints the registry names of every structure at your current position, which usually includes the mod ID in the name.
What's the difference between /wits and /witsop?
/wits only checks the structure at your own position and works for any player. /witsop lets server operators check any coordinate in any dimension by specifying the dimension and coordinates.
How do I check a structure at specific coordinates as an operator?
Use /witsop followed by the dimension and the coordinates, for example the overworld, nether, or end plus your X, Y, and Z values. You need operator permissions to run it.
Why does /wits say nothing or return a blank result?
You're probably not standing inside a structure that the vanilla /locate command can find. Small features like dungeons, desert wells, and other minor generated features aren't tracked as structures, so WITS can't detect them.
