Frequently asked questions
How do I actually find the new Terralith biomes in my world?
Just walk or fly around in newly generated chunks — Terralith biomes spawn naturally alongside vanilla ones, so no special item or command is needed. If you want to reach a specific biome fast, use the /locate biome command with the biome's ID.
Do I need to create a new world for Terralith to work?
Yes, for the new biomes to appear you need chunks that were generated with the mod active. Existing chunks you've already explored will keep their old terrain, so you'll only see Terralith biomes in areas you haven't visited yet.
Why aren't the new biomes showing up in my old world?
Terrain is generated once and saved, so already-explored chunks won't change. Travel far enough to load fresh chunks, or start a new world if you want the full Terralith experience from spawn.
Is Terralith compatible with other biome or world-gen mods?
Terralith is designed to work as a standalone overhaul and can conflict with other mods that heavily rewrite biome or terrain generation. If you stack multiple world-gen mods, expect overlapping or broken biomes, so test in a fresh world first.
