How to Find Terralith's Fortified Villages and Other Structures
Terralith adds structures such as Fortified Villages, which are tougher, more defensible versions of vanilla villages. Finding them is mostly a matter of exploring the right terrain types.
Where to Look
- Fortified Villages tend to appear in the mod's more rugged or themed biomes rather than flat plains. Scan ridgelines, plateaus, and valley floors as you travel.
- Because Terralith reshapes vanilla biomes too, a village you find may look very different from what you expect. Approach from high ground so you can see walls and towers before you are close.
Approaching Safely
- Circle the perimeter first. Fortified structures often have limited entrances, and walking straight in can put you in a dead end.
- Bring a bed and place it outside the walls so you have a safe respawn if the village is hostile or trapped.
- Check for loot chests in towers and upper floors, not just ground-level houses.
If you are specifically hunting structures, travel by boat or along rivers where possible — structures are easier to spot from open water than from inside dense forest.
