Make sure you have a supported season mod installed alongside SeasonHUD, since the HUD pulls its data from that mod rather than generating seasons itself. If no season mod is present, there's nothing for it to display.

Why does the season display say it can't find a season mod?

SeasonHUD needs a compatible season mod like Serene Seasons, Fabric Seasons, TerraFirmaCraft, or Ecliptic Seasons loaded to read season data. Check that your season mod is actually installed and enabled in your mod loader.
