Getting SeasonHUD to Detect Your Season Mod Correctly

Confirm a compatible season mod is installed

SeasonHUD is a display addon, not a season system. It reads season data from a season mod such as Serene Seasons, Fabric Seasons, TerraFirmaCraft, or Ecliptic Seasons. If none of these is installed, the HUD has nothing to show and will stay blank or hidden. Install one season mod first, then let SeasonHUD read from it.

Match the right integration

Each season mod exposes its season differently, so SeasonHUD needs to know which one to query. In the config, check the season source or provider option and set it to the mod you actually have. If you run two season mods at once, pick the one whose seasons you want displayed, since the HUD can only show one source at a time.

Troubleshoot a blank display

If the season text never appears, first verify the season mod itself is working by checking its own season command or debug output. Then confirm SeasonHUD's HUD element is not disabled and its position is not pushed off-screen by offsets. On a server, remember the season is controlled server-side, so a client-only setup may show nothing until you connect to a world that actually runs a season mod. Reload the config or restart the client after changing the source.
