Overview
Seasons adds a continuous four-season cycle to Minecraft. As time passes, the world moves through spring, summer, fall and winter, and each season changes how the world looks and behaves.
The most visible effect is colour: grass, leaves and other foliage shift from fresh spring green, to deep summer green, to warm autumn yellows and browns, to a pale, frosty winter tone. Seasons also change biome temperatures, crop growth and the way ice and snow form and melt, so the passing of the year genuinely affects gameplay rather than being only a visual theme.
