How to Automate Rechiseled Block Production
Rechiseled is designed around manual chiseling, so full automation is limited. Still, you can set up a semi-automated workflow that saves time on large builds.
What Can and Cannot Be Automated
The Chisel is a hand tool, so you cannot pipe blocks through it like a machine. There is no Rechiseled machine block that converts items automatically. Automation therefore means automating the supply of base blocks and the placement or storage of finished variants, not the chiseling step itself.
A Practical Setup
1. Build a farm or crafting line that produces the base block you need in bulk, such as planks from a tree farm.
2. Store the base blocks in a chest or barrel near your build site.
3. Keep a Chisel in a nearby chest so you always have it on hand.
4. Chisel blocks in batches while standing at the build site, then place them immediately.
5. Use hoppers or pipes to move finished decorative blocks into storage if you are stockpiling.
If You Use Create
Players often ask about "rechiseled create" automation. Create can move and store blocks, but it cannot operate the Chisel for you. You can use Create contraptions to deliver base blocks and collect finished ones, but the chiseling action stays manual.
Tip
Chisel a full stack at a time rather than one block at a time. It is faster and keeps your inventory organized.
