Fixing Rechiseled Not Working or Missing Blocks

If Rechiseled blocks are missing, the Chisel does nothing, or textures look wrong, the cause is usually installation or version related rather than a bug in the mod itself.

Check Dependencies First

Rechiseled depends on a shared library mod. If that library is missing or the wrong version, Rechiseled will not load at all. Make sure every required dependency is present and matches the Minecraft version you are running.

Common Symptoms and Fixes

  • No blocks appear in the creative menu: the mod failed to load. Check the log for missing dependency errors.
  • Chisel does nothing: you may be using it on a block that has no variants, or you may be using the wrong mouse button.
  • Textures look broken or purple: a resource pack is overriding Rechiseled assets. Remove or update the pack.
  • Blocks work in singleplayer but not on a server: the server does not have the mod installed. Both sides need it.

Mod Compatibility

Rechiseled generally coexists with other building mods, including Chipped and Create. Conflicts are rare and usually come from resource packs rather than other mods. If two mods add the same block ID, one will win, but this is uncommon.

Last Resort

If nothing works, remove other mods one at a time to isolate the conflict, and confirm you are launching the correct mod loader profile.
